We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our IT Team, reporting into the Head of Software Delivery. As a Technical Business Analyst , you will be helping deliver and optimise critical transactional platforms for PureGym across markets.
The Role:
To enable the successful delivery of PureGym’s Commercial Offering Platform and Payments capabilities by defining, capturing, and documenting technical and business requirements across systems, integrations, and data flows. This role is critical in ensuring clarity and alignment between business needs and technical execution, supporting agile delivery teams with deep domain knowledge and structured analysis.
You'll be responsible for:
We’re building a new Commercial Offering Platform to simplify and centralise how PureGym manages plans, prices, bolt-ons, gym access rules, and promotions across markets. This platform will serve as the master source of truth, feeding data into our backend systems, website, and app. Alongside this, our Payments module integrates with local third-party providers and requires robust documentation of data flows, reporting logic, and accounting rules.
As a Technical Business Analyst, you’ll work closely with engineering, product, and commercial teams to:
- Define and document API specifications, data flows, and business logic.
- Capture and refine technical and functional requirements maintaining always up-to-date centralised documentation in a clear and structured way.
- Analyse and map integrations between internal systems and external providers down to the data field level through various systems data sources, and API interactions.
- Support agile teams in understanding and iterating through complex work.
- Become a domain expert in our digital payments capabilities across markets including local business rules, tax requirements, and various reporting needs.
This is a classic, hands-on BA role — not a Product Owner or story writer — focused on structured analysis, documentation, and technical clarity.
The Person
You’re a detail-oriented, technically-minded analyst who thrives in complex environments. You’re comfortable diving deep into data, systems, and business logic, and you know how to translate that into clear, actionable documentation. You’re collaborative, curious, and committed to making a difference.

- Has proven experience as a Technical or Systems Business Analyst in agile environments.
- Understands APIs, data flows, and system integrations.
- Can write and maintain clear, structured documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Is comfortable working across multiple teams and stakeholders.
